Sevilla, 1975

   César Martínez Varela estudió en la Escuela de Artes Aplicadas y Oficios Artísticos de Sevilla. Posteriormente, completó el Bachillerato en Arte y Diseño en el Instituto Pablo Picasso, ingresando al año siguiente en la Facultad de Bellas Artes de la Universidad de Sevilla, donde se licenció en Escultura en 2001. En su estudio, desarrolla su obra visual y conceptual, basada en sus experiencias, el conocimiento de su entorno y la investigación y experimentación, reflejadas en sus obras tridimensionales, bidimensionales y digitales.

Ha realizado numerosas exposiciones individuales y colectivas en España, mostrando su obra en diversos espacios, tanto físicos como virtuales (galerías, museos, centros de arte, redes sociales).

Actualmente, es profesor de Escultura en la Escuela Superior de Artes Plásticas y Diseño en Andalucía, España.

   César Martínez Varela studied at the School of Applied Arts and Artistic Crafts in Seville. He later completed his Baccalaureate in Art and Design at the Pablo Picasso Institute, entering the Faculty of Fine Arts at the University of Seville the following year, where he graduated in Sculpture in 2001. In his studio, he develops his visual and conceptual work, based on his experiences, knowledge of his surroundings, and research and experimentation, reflected in his three-dimensional, two-dimensional, and digital works.

He has held numerous solo and group exhibitions in Spain, showing his work in various spaces, both physical and virtual (galleries, museums, art centers, social media).

He currently teaches Sculpture at the Higher School of Visual Arts and Design in Andalusia, Spain.
